• Descrizione: 3-Fluorovaline is a non-protein amino acid that can be synthesized by substituting a hydrogen atom in the beta position of valine with fluorine. It has been used as an analytical marker for the detection of irradiation, and can also be detected in atypical samples using mass spectrometry. 3-Fluorovaline is not a natural amino acid, but it is produced during protein synthesis under conditions of radiation damage or by enzymatic reactions. The linear range for 3-fluorovaline is from 0.1 to 10 µM, and its detection limit is 0.2 µM. 3-Fluorovaline can be used as an internal standard for propranolol hydrochloride in mass spectrometry analysis and as an analytical marker for the determination of glutamic acid, n-methyl-l-alanine and hypoglycin A levels in fruits and vegetables.
