Descrizione:6-Furfurylaminopurine is a natural compound that has been shown to have genotoxic activity. It inhibits DNA polymerase, RNA polymerase, and protein synthesis in vitro. It also exhibits high resistance against enzymes such as kinetin which are typically used to inhibit the activity of other compounds with similar activity. 6-Furfurylaminopurine was shown to be active in a plate test and showed no photosynthetic activity. 6-Furfurylaminopurine may act as a natural hormone and possess physiological effects on plants. The optimum concentration for 6-furfurylaminopurine is 10 μM, which is at the lower end of the range for most natural compounds.
