Descrizione:Fluazinam is a fungicide that belongs to the group of benzimidazole derivatives. It inhibits the growth of fungi by interfering with their energy metabolism and formation of chitin, which is an important component in fungal cell walls. Fluazinam has been shown to have synergic effects with benzalkonium chloride, an antiseptic agent, and has been successfully used for the treatment of resistant strains. This fungicide is also able to reduce oxidative stress in plants because it has antioxidative properties. For sample preparation, this product can be dissolved in water or methanol and then diluted with water or acetone. It can be applied using a sprayer or dipped onto plant surfaces.
