Descrizione:Flufenoxuron is a pesticide that inhibits the synthesis of chitin, which is an important component of the insect's exoskeleton. It forms a synergic effect with pyrethroid-based insecticides and has high resistance. Flufenoxuron binds to the matrix protein in the cell membrane, which prevents its normal function and leads to lysis of cells. Flufenoxuron also has a matrix effect on biological systems, such as inhibiting enzyme activities in fetal bovine serum preparations. In addition, it can inhibit angiogenesis by preventing transcriptional regulation of VEGF expression in human macrophages. The inhibition of angiogenesis is thought to be due to its anti-angiogenic effects on hepatic microvessels in rats.
