Fmoc-D-Ala-aldehyde is a compound that is used in the synthesis of gonadorelin acetate, a synthetic analog of the natural hormone, luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone. The yield and purity of this compound are high. Fmoc-D-Ala-aldehyde can be activated with an acid chloride to form an amide that can then be reacted with benzyl alcohol for the synthesis of gonadorelin acetate. This reaction proceeds in high yields and rapid rates.
