Descrizione:2-Fluoro-6-iodobenzonitrile is a potent inhibitor of the BCR-ABL tyrosine kinases. It binds to the ATP binding site of these enzymes and inhibits the catalytic activity, leading to cell death. 2-Fluoro-6-iodobenzonitrile has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity against mutant forms of BCR-ABL, including T315I and T315I/T2535I, which are resistant to imatinib. 2-Fluoro-6-iodobenzonitrile has also been shown to have anti-proliferative activities in cancer cells and can be used as an anticancer agent.
