Fenpyrazamine is a fungicide that belongs to the group of phenylpyrroles. It has been shown to have synergistic interactions with tebuconazole, which are two agrochemical substances. Fenpyrazamine has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria in vitro, and it also inhibits the production of plant metabolites. This compound is used as an analytical method for detecting capsaicinoids in peppers. Fenpyrazamine has high resistance against many fungi and bacteria, but it is not active against bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Mycobacterium avium complex.
