Descrizione:Fenbendazole-d3 is a deuterated form of the drug, fenbendazole. Fenbendazole-d3 is used to study the effect of matrix effects on the pharmacokinetics of fenbendazole and its metabolites in vitro. The metabolic fate of fenbendazole-d3 was studied in vivo by monitoring plasma concentrations and urinary excretion in rats. Fenbendazole-d3 was found to be well absorbed after oral administration, with high concentrations detected in plasma and urine. In rat primary cultures, fenbendazole-d3 inhibited the growth of anthelmintic drugs. Linear regression analysis revealed significant interactions between matrix effects and pharmacokinetic parameters for fenbendazole-d3.
