Descrizione:Flunixin-d3 is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that blocks the production of prostaglandins. It is used to treat inflammation and pain in horses, cows, pigs, and dogs. Flunixin-d3 is available as a liquid for injection or oral solution. The test samples for this drug were prepared by mixing a known amount of flunixin-d3 with an aminopyridine and phenylbutazone in a solvent such as methanol or ethanol. These test samples were then separated using liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV detection at 254 nm. The HPLC column was equilibrated in an eluent consisting of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid in water containing 1% methanol at pH 3.5 before use.
