Descrizione

Fluocortolone is a corticosteroid that can be used to treat a variety of inflammatory diseases. It has been shown to have an effect on the production of eosinophil cationic protein and other chemical mediators in the colon, which may be involved in inflammatory bowel disease. Fluocortolone has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in autoimmune diseases and bowel disease, as well as treating choroidal neovascularization, skin cancer, and t-cell lymphomas. Long-term efficacy and high values for disease activity have been observed for this drug, with untreated groups showing improvement.
