Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Fluoro-m-tolylboronic acid
4-Fluoro-3-methylphenylboronic acid (4FMBA) is an activated boronate that has been shown to be a good substrate for amide bond formation. 4FMBA reacts with various nucleophiles, including ammonia, amines, and alcohols, and undergoes cross-coupling reactions with organometallic reagents. 4FMBA also forms the corresponding triazine upon reaction with the trifluoroacetate salt of ethylamine. 4FMBA can be used as a synthetic intermediate in organic chemistry and is useful for obtaining positron emitters for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It has also been shown to have neuroprotective effects in models of Alzheimer's disease by reducing oxidative stress and improving mitochondrial function.
