Descrizione:2-Fluoropyridine-3-carboxaldehyde (FP) is an antibiotic that has been synthesized and tested in vitro against a range of bacterial strains, with promising results. FP has shown activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Streptococcus pneumoniae. FP also inhibits the growth of Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. The compound has been shown to be active against some fungi and yeast strains, but not against viruses or other microorganisms. FP can be used in conjugates with anticancer drugs to target tumor cells that are resistant to chemotherapy.
