• Descrizione: 4-Fluorobenzyl bromide is an amide with a high acidity and a pK a of 2.5. This compound has three functional groups: the hydroxyl group, the benzyl group, and the fluorine atom. The hydroxyl group is located at the para position to the phenyl ring, while the benzyl group is located at the para position to the amino group. 4-Fluorobenzyl bromide has been shown to have tyrosinase inhibitory activity when tested in vitro on human melanoma cells. Kinetic experiments have also been performed for this compound.
