6-Fluorochromone-3-carbaldehyde is a cytotoxic drug that inhibits cell proliferation. It has been shown to have anti-tumor activity in vitro and in vivo, with a dose-dependent effect. 6-Fluorochromone-3-carbaldehyde induces apoptosis by modulating the cycle of the cell and its ability to divide. This drug inhibits the growth of tumor cells by targeting specific proteins, such as caspases, cyclins, and p53. 6-Fluorochromone-3-carbaldehyde has also been shown to inhibit the growth of benzene.
