Descrizione:4-Fluoro-o-xylene is a monochromator that is used in preparative, spectroscopic and analytical methods. 4-Fluoro-o-xylene has been used as an agrochemical to control weeds and pests. It is also used to prepare other chemicals and as a reactant in the manufacture of plastics and pharmaceuticals. The chlorination of 4-fluoro-o-xylene produces 4,5,6,7,8,-tetrachlorodibenzo-[p]dioxin (4,5,6,7,8,-TCDD) which is toxic to humans.
