Descrizione:Fluorotributyltin is a compound that is used as an antifouling agent for marine vessels. It is a mixture of organic and inorganic compounds, including tributyltin, which can be found in the environment. In the 3t3-l1 preadipocytes, fluorotributyltin has been shown to induce apoptosis by activating the caspase-8 pathway. Fluorotributyltin also induces oxidative stress and increases lipid peroxidation, which may lead to bowel disease and related conditions. This compound interacts with chloride ions in the maternal blood and inhibits the uptake of fluoride by dentine.
