Descrizione

Ginkgolide J is a terpene trilactone that is found in the leaves of the Ginkgo biloba plant. It has been shown to inhibit inflammatory responses induced by LPS and alcohol residue, which are toxic to cells. Ginkgolide J has also been shown to have neuroprotective effects on human macrophages. In mouse hippocampal cells, it reduces intracellular calcium concentrations and prevents neuronal death. This compound has been shown to inhibit p-glycoprotein (P-gp) activity and can be used as a sample preparation reagent for expression plasmids.
