Descrizione:Gly-Leu is a peptide that is found in the body and was discovered to have activity against radiation. It also has been shown to increase locomotor activity and body mass index in mice. Gly-Leu is an amphipathic molecule with a hydroxyl group on one end of the molecule and a hydrogen bonding group on the other end. This peptide has been shown to have anti-oxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation in vitro by binding to hydroxyl groups. Additionally, Gly-Leu has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
