Ganoderic acid DM (GADM) is a natural compound that inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential and induces apoptosis in human cancer cells. GADM has been shown to have minimal toxicity in animal studies and to inhibit angiogenesis. GADM also has anti-angiogenic effects, which are due to its ability to induce autophagy and inhibit cell proliferation by inhibiting protein synthesis.
