Descrizione:Gelsemine is a chinese herb that has been shown to have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect in rats. It also has the ability to protect against bone cancer, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the matrix effect. Gelsemine is used as a treatment for autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Gelsemine is produced by the hydrolysis of gelsemic acid, which can be isolated from the root of Gelsemium elegans. The major metabolites of gelsemine are cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity and lysergic acid. These metabolites can be detected using LC-MS/MS methods, while a colloidal gold technique is used for immunoassays. The injection solution containing gelsemine should be diluted with phosphate buffer saline (PBS) before use.
