Descrizione:3-Hydroxypiperidine is a chemical compound that contains an asymmetric carbonyl group. It has been used in the synthesis of enantiopure pharmaceuticals, and is also a competitive inhibitor for some enzymes. 3-Hydroxypiperidine can be synthesized by hydrogenation reduction or hydroxylation of piperidine.
