Descrizione:Hippuryl-Lys-OH is a novel, potent and selective serine protease inhibitor that targets human cathepsin B. It has been shown to have inhibitory properties against other serine proteases such as chymotrypsin, trypsin, and elastase. Hippuryl-Lys-OH is used in the treatment of cancer patients with diabetes who require a creatine level less than 400 μM per liter of serum. It also has potential applications in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease due to its ability to inhibit polymerase chain reactions (PCR).
