It is converted to acrylates and oxetane under high pressure and temperature conditions. 3-Hydroxythietane 1,1-dioxide can also be thermolyzed or chlorohydrinated under low pressure conditions. The reaction products depend on the type of chemical transformation and are composed of hydrogen peroxide, azetidine, and pyrolysis products.
