Descrizione:L-Histidine benzyl ester is a metalloprotease inhibitor that inhibits the activity of enzymes called β-glucosidases. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on leukemia cells and cervical cancer, which may be due to its ability to cross-link proteins. L-Histidine benzyl ester also inhibits the enzymatic activity of β-glucosidase, which is involved in the hydrolysis of glycogen and cellulose. This compound can be used as a biomimetic cross-linking agent for various polymers such as polyurethane and polyester.
