Informazioni sul prodotto
Hydrindantin dihydrate (HID) is an active form of hydrazine that is used as a chemical sealant, polymer activator, and catalyst. HID reacts with polyolefin at elevated temperatures to form a cross-linked polyolefin. This reaction can also be used to attach polymers to various substrates such as metals or ceramics. HID also has the ability to react with chloride ions in water vapor, forming hydrochloric acid and release of hydrogen gas. Hydrindantin dihydrate is a nucleophilic agent that reacts with electron-deficient compounds such as glyoxal, acetaldehyde, and acrolein.
Hydrindantin dihydrate is also a cyclic compound containing six carbons and three nitrogens. It has two double bonds in the ring and one triple bond between the first two atoms in the chain.
