HMBA-AM resin is a polystyrene-supported reagent for coupling lysates to peptides. It is used in solid phase synthesis and pyrolysis methods. The hydrolysis and cyclization reactions that occur on this resin can be used to synthesize polypeptides without protecting groups or amino acid side chains.
