Descrizione:HTL22562 is a monoclonal antibody that targets the human glycyrrhizin-binding receptor (GlyR) for treatment of urothelial carcinoma. GlyR is expressed in the urothelium, and HTL22562 blocks the binding of glycyrrhizin to GlyR, which leads to an increase in cell apoptosis and inhibition of tumor growth. The clinical study showed that HTL22562 inhibited intravascular hemolysis in women with sickle cell disease. It also has been shown to be effective against cervical cancer cells in vitro and leucovorin-resistant cells in vivo.
