Descrizione:6-Hydroxy bentazon is a herbicide with an acetate extraction that is used to control broadleaf weeds. It inhibits the growth of plants by inhibiting photosynthesis, which in turn prevents the production of carbohydrate and protein. 6-Hydroxy bentazon also inhibits cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are essential for the production of proteins from amino acids. This drug has been shown to have a strong inhibitory effect on soil microorganisms, including fungi and bacteria, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cytochrome p450 enzymes. 6-Hydroxy bentazon is used as a phytotoxicant in water treatment systems and is included as an additive in pesticides.
