Descrizione:6-Hydroxy etodolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been shown to act as an inhibitor of pain and inflammation. It binds to the cyclooxygenase enzyme, which prevents the production of prostaglandins. 6-Hydroxy etodolac is administered orally and can be detected in human serum or faeces. It has been shown to be metabolised into conjugates, which are excreted in the urine.6-Hydroxy etodolac is not active against microbial transformation, as it does not bind to bacterial enzymes.
