• Descrizione: S-(3-Hydroxypropyl)-L-cysteine is a fatty acid that belongs to the group of fudosteine. It is an endogenous amino acid and has been shown to stimulate the growth of epidermal cells in culture. S-(3-Hydroxypropyl)-L-cysteine has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in rat neutrophils, although it is not yet clear how this occurs. S-(3-Hydroxypropyl)-L-cysteine has not been associated with any toxic effects in animals or humans, but should be used with caution as there are no toxicity studies available.
