Descrizione:
Hirudin is a drug that is used to prevent blood clots. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain types of human cancer cells and to have anti-inflammatory properties. Hirudin binds to heparin, which prevents the activation of thrombin by antithrombin III, preventing clotting. The drug also inhibits the proliferation and migration of neuronal cells in culture. Hirudin has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain types of human cancer cells and to have anti-inflammatory properties.
