The compound also has good transport properties, chemical stability, and growth factor binding constants. It has been shown to have anti-cancer activity when combined with epidermal growth factor. 2,3,6,7,10,11-Hexahydroxytriphenylene hydrate has also been synthesized on a solid phase using carbonyl oxygens as starting materials.
