Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzonitrile, 4-hydroxy-2-(trifluoromethyl)-
4-Hydroxy-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzonitrile is a synthetic androgen receptor antagonist that can be used in the treatment of acne. It has been shown to have high affinity for the androgen receptor and inhibit its activity. This agent is capable of binding to the androgen receptor in vitro, as well as in vivo, where it inhibits the proliferation of sebocytes (cells that produce sebum). 4-Hydroxy-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzonitrile may be able to reduce acne by inhibiting sebum production, which would prevent clogged pores from becoming infected with bacteria.
