Descrizione:2-Isopropyl-4-methyl thiazole is a corrosion inhibitor that is used in the preparation of aqueous solutions for the analysis of water. It is soluble in both water and organic solvents, which makes it an ideal choice for sample preparation. 2-Isopropyl-4-methyl thiazole has been shown to inhibit corrosion reactions on steel at pH values between 5 and 8, making it an excellent choice for use as a corrosion inhibitor. 2-Isopropyl-4-methyl thiazole also has been shown to be toxic to rats with a LD50 of 12.5 mg/kg when administered orally.
