Descrizione:
Isoamyl nitrite is a cyclase inhibitor that inhibits the enzyme system that synthesizes nitric oxide from nitrite. It has been shown to be effective in treating infections caused by bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella typhimurium, by interfering with the synthesis of protein-bound nitric oxide. Isoamyl nitrite has also been shown to have an effect on drug interactions with other drugs and may cause metabolic disorders.
