Descrizione:(2E)-3-(1H-Indol-3-yl)acrylic acid is a chemical compound that can be found in the plant genus "Actinomycetes". It has significant antiproliferative activity and may induce apoptotic cell death. (2E)-3-(1H-Indol-3-yl)acrylic acid is a precursor to the aromatic amino acid l-phenylalanine, which can be used for the synthesis of many other compounds. The compound was first isolated in an ethanolic extract of Actinomycetes bacteria and identified by NMR spectroscopy. In addition, (2E)-3-(1H-Indol-3-yl)acrylic acid is metabolized into chloride and methanol. It is also a low detection substance in urine, making it difficult to detect using current methods.
