Descrizione:Irigenin is a natural product that is found in the root of Iris versicolor. It has been used for centuries for its anti-cancer properties. Irigenin inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to proteins and acetylating them, which alters their shape and function. The acetate extract from the roots of this plant contains irigenin as well as other compounds with antioxidant properties. Irigenin also binds to specific protein targets and inhibits the activity of enzymes involved in phospholipid synthesis. This leads to a decrease in cancer cell proliferation, oxidative stress, and lipid peroxidation.
