Descrizione:Isodecanol is a fatty alcohol with a hydroxyl group. It is used as an extractant in the production of phosphoric acid and sodium carbonate. Isodecanol has high resistance to chemicals, making it ideal for use in the extraction of phosphorus pentoxide or toxic substances such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). This product is not toxic to animals at levels up to 2000 mg/kg body weight. Isodecanol can also be used as an antimicrobial treatment for detergents and cleaning products, although it has low bioavailability and a detergent composition may be necessary to increase its effectiveness.
