Descrizione:Isobutylcyclohexane is a polycarboxylic acid that has been used in the manufacture of polarizers and as a starting material for the production of other chemicals. It reacts with itself at high temperatures to form an oily liquid with very high viscosity. The thermal expansion coefficient is low, which makes it suitable for use in thermometers, analytical methods, and microspheres. Isobutylcyclohexane is also used as a solvent in organic synthesis reactions. The activation energy of this reaction is about 100 kJ/mol. Isobutylcyclohexane can be found in toll-like receptor 4 agonists that are used to treat autoimmune diseases.
