Descrizione:2,2'-Iminodiethanol is an amine used in the preparation of samples for clinical pathology. It is also used as a standard in the determination of hepatic steatosis and diethanolamine. The reaction mechanism of 2,2'-iminodiethanol with p-nitrophenyl phosphate has been studied to understand its toxicity. The process optimization of this amine has been improved by taking into consideration water permeability and water vapor. 2,2'-Iminodiethanol is not toxic to humans and does not react with DNA or cells.
