Descrizione:Iodoantipyrine is a synthetic compound that has been used as a diagnostic agent in the diagnosis of senescent cells. It is also used to study the metabolism of these cells, by measuring enzyme activities in blood samples. Iodoantipyrine is also an anti-cancer drug and has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in various types of tissue, including heart tissue and brain infarction. Iodoantipyrine inhibits cell proliferation by blocking the synthesis of epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs), which are thought to be important for physiological function. This compound also binds to carboxy terminal amino acid residues on enzymes and prevents their function.
