Descrizione:Kisspeptin-54 is a mammalian peptide hormone that regulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. Kisspeptin-54 has been shown to be potently immunogenic in humans and can be used as an antigen for the production of monoclonal antibodies. It is also a candidate drug for the treatment of obesity and may have neuroprotective effects. Kisspeptin-54 has been shown to reduce body mass index, which may be due to its ability to stimulate the immune system and promote antibody production against tumors. This peptide also has potent on-line binding properties that are useful in polymerase chain reactions.
