Descrizione:Lithium tert-amoxide is a non-nucleophilic base that is used in organic synthesis. It has been shown to react with the electron-deficient alkoxides and alkyllithium compounds in the presence of a halogenating agent, such as butyllithium or halogen gas. The regioselectivity of this reaction depends on the type of alkoxide being reacted. Lithium tert-amoxide also reacts with potassium ions to form organolithium compounds, which are useful for synthetic reactions. This compound can be used as an oxidizing agent when combined with a suitable catalyst. Lithium tert-amoxide also has been shown to have an interaction with resonances, causing changes in its spectrum.
