Descrizione:Psoralenoside is a natural compound that inhibits the transcriptional regulation of melanogenesis. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases and proteases, as well as their ability to activate pro-inflammatory cytokines, which may be important in the treatment of psoriasis. Psoralenoside is available in two chemical forms: psoralen and its glycoside, psoralenoside. Psoralens are compounds that can bind to DNA and form covalent bonds with it. This process prevents normal DNA replication, causing cell death. The pharmacokinetic properties of psoralens are limited by their rapid elimination from the body. Preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods are used for analysis and quantification of psoralen content in herbal products.
