Descrizione:2-methoxy-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is a heteroaromatic compound that has been shown to be the first trifluoromethylated derivative of 2-methoxy-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine. This compound has been shown to be active against bacterial strains that are resistant to quinolones, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and may have potential use as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of MRSA infections. The medicinal chemistry and pharmacological properties of this compound have not yet been studied.
