Descrizione:2-Methylnonane is a colorless, viscous liquid that is used as a dry weight standard for organic compounds. It has a molecular formula of C9H18O and a molecular weight of 136.24 g/mol. 2-Methylnonane also has an acetate extract, hydroxyl group, carbonyl group, and aromatic hydrocarbon. 2-Methylnonane is soluble in glycol ethers and sodium salts; insoluble in water; and has a boiling point of about 180°C. It is used as the boron nitride to form polymers with film-forming properties. The effective dose of 2-methylnonane is not known, but it can be used as a polymerization catalyst for reactions involving film-forming polymers.
