3beta-Myrianthic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C22H30O6. It is a phytoalexin that is found in plants of the genus Pueraria, such as Pueraria lobata. This compound has been shown to have protease activity and significant cytotoxicity against cancer cells. 3beta-Myrianthic acid also has transcriptase activity and natural compounds that may be responsible for its antitumor activity. The structure of 3beta-myrianthic acid was determined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS).
