Descrizione:DBCO-Maleimide is a ligand that reacts with metal hydroxides to form metal-DBCO complexes. It is used as an additive in crankcase oil and a catalyst in catalytic reduction. DBCO-Maleimide has been shown to increase the viscosity of human serum. The compound has also been shown to be toxic, producing oxidative DNA damage in cultured human cells and inducing the production of reactive oxygen species.
