Descrizione:(R)-(-)-1-Methoxy-2-propanol is a chiral lipase synthon that can be used to synthesize the enantiopure (S,S) and (R,S) isomers of azetidine. The synthesis of these isomers is accomplished by transesterification reactions with different alkenes. It has been shown that immobilization of the lipase on a solid support improves the yield and reproducibility of this reaction. This synthetic method has also been optimized for various temperatures.
