Descrizione:Methyl undecafluoroamyl ketone is a silicon-containing chemical that is used for the preparation of polymers and as a solvent. It has a damaging effect on inorganic materials, such as silicon, and also reacts with acidic substances. Methyl undecafluoroamyl ketone has been shown to be an effective chlorine scavenger, as it reacts with chlorine to form hydrochloric acid and methylene chloride. This chemical can be used as a particle or organic solvent but should not be used in an organic solution since it is highly toxic to living organisms. Methyl undecafluoroamyl ketone is also used as a detergent supplement to increase water hardness and remove phosphates from laundry products.
